9th and 10th Grade Planning
Career and College Promise (CCP) gives qualified high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get a "jump start" on a two-year or four-year degree while still in high school. Best of all, it is tuition-free; however, high school students may encounter book cost and college fees. While CPCC does have a program for freshman and sophomores, CMS student are not eligible for these technical pathways due to NC public school graduation requirements. Student hoping to complete and Associates degree by graduation may take the step below to try an achieve that goal.
Due to the large size of our program, private advising with families is not available. We encourage families to join a Q&A session. After students apply for the program each semester of their Junior and Senior years they wee receive a private advising worksheet and opportunity to schedule a 1on1 meeting.
